Loves Park is positioned in many large media markets. We are lucky to have a fully functional Library System, School District , Newspaper, Television and Radio Stations. North Suburban Library District 
The Mission of the North Suburban Library District is to provide access to quality information and resources in partnership with local business and community institutions to support: literacy, the preservation of local history, personal growth and development, recreation, and education for the residents of the district.
Harlem School District
Harlem is a school district of approximately 7,000 students. We have one high school, one middle school (two campuses), and nine elementary schools. The school district is located in northern Illinois, ninety miles northwest of Chicago, and just north of Rockford. Harlem District 122 serves the communities of Loves Park, Machesney Park, and southern Roscoe.
Rockford Register Star
The Rockford Register Star is owned by the Gannett Company, Inc., one of the world's largest newspaper groups. Gannett purchased the Register Star in 1967.
Their daily circulation is about 73,000 and Sunday circulation is about 86,000.
The Register Star publishes one edition that serves the Rock River Valley in northwest Illinois.
In addition to the city of Loves Park, they also serve suburban and regional readers in, Rockford, Machesney Park, Roscoe, Rockton, South Beloit, all in Winnebago County; Belvidere and other towns in Boone County; and Byron, Oregon and other communities in Ogle County.

Published every Wednesday and is distributed to Loves Park, Cherry Valley, Belvidere, DeKalb, New Milford, Stillman Valley, Byron, Oregon, Polo, Winnebago, Pecatonica, Lake Summerset, Durand, Rockton, Roscoe, South Beloit, Machesney Park, Rockford, Illinois and Madison, Wisconsin.
