Loves Park City Seal!Clint W. Little - An Alderman You Should Know...
American Eagle Divider

Channel 13 WREX challenged a few of us elected officials in a charity softball game on June 26th.

The event was held at the Loves Park Boys and Girls Club diamonds. All proceeds benefited the United Way. Rockford Mayor Doug Scott led our all-star team against channel 13. The elected officials were ahead throughout the game.

In the eighth inning WREX hit a triple sending three men home and allowing them to take the lead by one run. We rallied in the ninth inning to make the score 6 all.
It was decided not to go into extra innings and call it a draw.

The true winner was the United Way who received over $1,200 raised by this event. Thank you to all the fans who showed-up to cheer us on and support this worthy cause.
