Election 2007

This April 17, you will have an opportunity to vote in local races such as Alderman, Harlem School Board, Rock Valley College Trustee, North Suburban Library Trustee, Rockford Park District Commissioner and even an Advisory Referendum on banning smoking statewide.

I will List the Contested Candidates names for each race and include the Advisory Referendum question which will be voted on this April 17.

Should the State of Illinois prohibit smoking in all indoor work places and all indoor public places?

I hope you and your family will participate in choosing the next repesentatives who will serve on these various boards. If you are not registered you can register after this election when voter registration opens. Contact your local Election Board for more information.

North Suburban library District will conduct a Candidates Forum at the Loves Park Branch 6:30 on Thursday, April 5. Come listen and talk with local candidates as they vie for your vote.
