New Board Member chosen

The Harlem School Board will meet May 31, 2006 at a specially scheduled meeting to choose one of seven candidates to fill the vacancy left by Debbie Kerr's resignation. The School Board meetings start at 7pm in the Harlem Administration Center, 8605 N. Second St. Machesney Park and these meetings are open to the public.

Update:

The Board vacancy has been filled by Heather Kelly. She has worked with the district in the past as a volunteer on the Superintendent's public-relations committee.
